Contary to what was posted on QPR's Official Site Last Week " "KEY [PROVISIONAL] DATES FOR YOUR DIARY ....- We enter the Carling Cup at round two ..." QPR [Subsequently changed post to say Round One) , QPR are in the First Round of the Carling Cup, the draw for which will be made this Friday!

Slight Error II! As a messageboard poster notes, the club also got the dates slightly wrong "Tuesday 13th or Wednesday 14th August" when in fact it's Tuesday 12th or Wednesday 13th August! UPDATE: Change has been made "Ties are due to be played on Tuesday 12th or Wednesday 13th August." QPR

The draw for the first round of the 2008/09 Carling Cup will take place at 10.00am on Friday.
The R's will enter the competition at the first round stage. Ties are due to be played on Tuesday 13th or Wednesday 14th August.
