QPR Official Site - MAGILTON: A GOOD TEST
- After settling in to the squads headquarters in Toplice, R's boss Jim Magilton is relishing tonight's friendly against NK Celje at the Arena Petrol Stadium.
- Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Magilton - whose oversaw his first training session on foreign soil yesterday - said: "It's another good test for us - both in terms of our fitness levels and our level of performance.
- "It's a chance for the lads to show me what they can do and a chance for me to run the rule over them all again after Saturday."
- After giving each of his squad members 45 minutes to impress against Aldershot at the weekend, Magilton is set to play some for an hour versus Celje, and then reverse the trend for the clash against NK Karlovac on Sunday evening.
- "We'll probably mix it up a bit," said Magilton.
- "Some will play for an hour or so on Wednesday and then play half hour on Sunday, and vice-versa."
- Rowan Vine (hamstring) won't feature this evening, whilst Martin Rowlands (knee) is unlikely to be risked. QPR
