- Ben Watson admits he rejected the chance to stay in the Premier League in order to join Championship Queens Park Rangers.
- The midfielder made his Rangers debut against Peterborough after arriving at Loftus Road on a four-month loan deal.
- He said: "I've come here to play, I wasn't guaranteed football at Wigan with the new manager. There was a late offer from a Premier League club, but I'd given my word here."
- Watson's error gifted Peterborough the opening goal before the midfielder's blushes were spared by former Crystal Palace team-mate Wayne Routledge who struck the equaliser in the 1-1 draw. Standard
