"Not good news on the QPR front. The Mittal's have made a slightly improved offer to buy the club which has been rejected. "I'm assured talk of Russian interest is complete garbage. E&B are still demanding £100m and the Mittal's refuse to be held to ransom"
"...In respect of the Mittal's, they are being realistic in their valuation of the club where as E&B are just being greedy..."
"...At the moment NW hands are completely tied in the transfer market. it appears E&B are not putting any money into the club. Smudge/Twitter

Talksport - Exclusive – Fry: QPR’s owners are a disgrace
By Anton Stanley
Monday, July 4
- Peterborough United’s director of football Barry Fry has hit out at QPR owners Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone for failing to back manager Neil Warnock in the transfer market.
The two clubs appeared to have agreed a deal for Scotland striker Craig Mackail-Smith but that fell through.
And Fry has slammed their treatment of Neil Warnock and the club’s fans.
He told talkSPORT: “[Craig Mackail-Smith] first of all met Neil Warnock with his agent, I mean I did a deal with Neil six weeks ago to be quite honest but [Flavio] Briatore and [Bernie] Ecclestone wouldn’t back Neil, he can’t even get a free transfer in, he can’t even get a tea lady in.
“They’re a disgrace those geezers at QPR in my opinion. If his owners don’t back him Neil can’t do anything. He’s performed miracles to get QPR into the Premier League. He should have all the backing in the world and he’s had none at all, he hasn’t signed anybody, he’s not been able to sign anybody.
“I don’t know what’s going on there, the QPR fans don’t deserve that. The price hike they’ve put on [tickets] is an absolute disgrace.” Talksport

Sky/Pete O'Rourke - Eagles eye Derry return
Freedman keen to lure midfielder back to Selhurst Park

....Skysports.com understands Crystal Palace are eyeing a move to lure QPR midfielder Shaun Derry back to the club.
The 33-year-old only joined QPR last summer after leaving Palace, but the Eagles are keen on a reunion with the player.
Derry played a key role in helping Rangers to promotion to the Premier League last season andhe was promised a new deal at Loftus Road.
However, those talks have stalled and the news has alerted Palace who could be ready to offer the experienced campaigner a return to Selhurst Park.
Derry has enjoyed three different spells at Palace during his career and Eagles boss Dougie Freedman is keen to add to his former team-mate to his squad for next season.
Freedman sees his experience as a key addition to his young squad and he is hoping to persuade Derry to give up the chance of Premier League football next season to help Palace in the Championship. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_7018667,00.html
